In today’s video, we’re looking at a kind of hybrid system – what would happen if we took all the benefits of digital guitar amps (switching between different types, being able to have models that would be hugely expensive) and combined them with all the benefits of a real tube power amp and cabinet (HUGE TONE).

So how about if we took Kazrog’s Thermionik plugins (in this case we used the JCM800, Dual Rectifier and 5150 models) through a Peavey Windsor 120W EL34 Tube Amp (using a Radial ProRMP Reamp box), a Zilla Fatboy 2×12 (with Celestion Vintage 30 and Creamback M) and an SM57 and Sennheiser 421?

Today we found out.
