Digital Clocking for Audio – What is it? Do I need a Master Clock?

Today i’m talking about clocking. It’s something that every audio interface does – USB interfaces all the way up to those huge mixing desks – if it’s digital, it needs clocking.

Anything digital in audio needs to work together to get audio from one piece of equipment to another, whether using ADAT, SPDIF, MADI or Wordclock.
